Permission Levels in The BigMarker Room

Inside the BigMarker Room. There are three basic permission levels:

ADMIN

Moderating:

  • Has access to the control panel
  • Can record the webinar
  • Can end the webinar
  • Can make people Presenters or Admins
  • Can enable or disable anyone's

Sharing:

  • Microphone
  • Webcam
  • Files
  • YouTube Videos
  • Screen

 

PRESENTER

  • Does NOT have access to the Control Panel. Can only share.

Sharing:

  • Microphone
  • Webcam
  • Files
  • YouTube Videos
  • Screen

 

ATTENDEE

Sharing:

  • Attendees can only share if Admin's enable Mic/Cam sharing
  • Chat (if enabled)
  • Tweet (if enabled)
  • Answer polls

TO ACCESS THE PERMISSION RIGHTS

As an admin, go to the Host Control Panel and scroll over the member. Click on the ellipses (...), and then you can change their settings.

 

TO MAKE SOMEONE A PRESENTER BEFORE THE WEBINAR

When you are creating a webinar, you can add or edit presenters under EDIT. Go to the PRESENTER section, and either ADD or EDIT a presenter. 

As the Admin of the event, you can edit anything you want about the presenter's profile. Note: If you make someone a presenter, they automatically have PRESENTER status in the conference room. You cannot take it away at a later time.

The three main permissions options are:

CAN MANGE THE PAGE: Do you want this person to be able to edit the event page?

CAN ACCESS ADMIN CONTROL PANEL: Do you want this person to be an admin in the room?

SHOWN ON PAGE: Do you want this person to show up on the webinar page?
