We're excited to introduce a new streaming mode, Up to 64 Cameras (Beta) Mode. This mode combines the best of Consolidated and Up to 9 Cameras (previously Keep Separate Streams) mode into one. With this mode, you can utilize less CPU and less network bandwidth usage overall. This mode supports up to 64 webcams to be shared at one time, while keeping the same style of Up to 9 Cameras mode.
This new mode is great for supporting numerous webcams streaming at once, whether that be for large events or meetings. While still in beta, we plan to roll out this mode on a full scale by April of 2022.
Current enhancements to this streaming mode is the capability to screen share and load presentations/slides/PDFs faster than before. We’ve enhanced the processing time so that the downtime is down to a few seconds.
Additionally, we’ve given attendees the ability to see other attendees cameras within Up to 64 Cameras mode. Now, you can enable ON Show audience cameras from attendees, which will allow attendees to see other attendees cameras in addition to presenters, presentation files and themselves. When enabled OFF, attendees will only see presenters, presentation files and themselves. Interactive mode must be used for this, but overall it's a great way to get more cameras on screen and attendees engaged with one another.
Currently, Up to 64 Cameras (Beta) is available for all webinars, virtual events and MeetingSpaces.
